Eidfjord 2018

Morning was a bit different this morning.  The view out the window - not person or building in sight.  We were in Eidfjord. A tiny town in a big fjord.

The weather is best described as "rainy with a chance of rainbows".  Hood up.  Hood down.  Hood up.  Keep the camera dry!

Most of our time there was gawking.  Gawking out the window at breakfast. Gawking on a ride to the nature center.  Gawking on the way back.  Gawking on a short hike to the lake and back.

About the only time not gawking was while I was at the nature center - on the included tour.  Plenty of gawking on the way up and back, but the nature center was all inside.  It include a movie that showed lots of Norwegian scenery and "dead zoo" style nature displays.  It was nice, but outside was the real deal.  A rainbow appeared and folks couldn't figure out how to get out of there fast enough.

They did have live fish, however.

We sailed out of the fjord as we ate dinner in the dining room - gawking all the way.

Next morning we'll be in Bergen.  Last port.
