Windsor - Last stop! 2018

Windsor is a good place to end a trip to England.  It's a cheap Uber ride away from Heathrow.

It's also a fun place to visit.  It has a Royal Castle.  It has an over-top-prep school.  And, the Thames river running through it.

Windsor Castle.  Once again, no interior pictures allowed, but you can buy the guide for only a few pounds.

Not a spec of rust on a thing.

Windsor grew piece at a time and changed as requirements changed.

Windsor has two train stations.  The original one was near the castle. It now just serves and hourly shuttle to the mainline while the newer station has frequent service all the way to Waterloo.

Look! In the phonebooth!  It's a bird!  It's a plane! It's a library?

The Burning Bush at Eton.  The elaborate lamppost. It's famous.

That all for this trip.  Where to next?
